A Powerful Journey

The day I chose myself was the day my life truly began.

Leaving behind what doesn't serve me.

I was a gentle child in a world that didn’t protect me.

I learned to survive.

I learned to shrink.

I learned to become invisible.

But I wasn’t born to be small.

I wasn’t born to give up on myself.

Setting boundaries was one of the best choices I ever made.

I decided to say: enough!

I chose to listen to myself.

I chose the light.

There were times in my life when I gave myself to people who didn’t want my good.

I tried to help those who chose to slander me and make up stories about me.

It was a painful price – years I lost.

Today I say: enough is enough.

Some people think they’re above the law and that their actions won’t come back to them – but the truth always comes to light.

It was a hard chapter.

A painful trial.

But I made a good choice.

I said enough.

I raised a red flag to everything that hurt me.

I came out of something hard – but I came out.

People can invent stories – but in the end, their actions reveal the truth.

Those people need to take responsibility for what they did.

I call for justice – for what was done to me.

True nature coming to light.

I write to remember.
