Some people tried to invent a life for me that never existed –But I'm here to tell my own story.

They tried to break me with their lies –

But the truth always finds its way out.

Everything that was hidden –

Came out into the light.

They lied about me.

Made up stories.

But I beat them in a game –

That I never even chose to play.

They crossed lines that can never be uncrossed.

“You were sold for nothing, and without money you shall be redeemed"

A verse that reminds me of Joseph,

thrown into the pit –

And still, he never gave up on his dream.

They didn’t manage to break me.

I am unbreakable.

They tried to control me.

Tried to hurt me.

And they caused harm.

But they also exposed themselves.

People who looked normal –

But whose actions were anything but sane.

Anything but human.

Now they see me –

Still here.

Not disappearing.

Not surrendering.

Like the phoenix –

I do not vanish.

I rebuild myself from the ashes,

Again and again –

Stronger each time.

I am recreating myself.

I am unbreakable.
